BURGLARY: 7400 block of Gadsby Sq., 8/8/18 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the next day. A resident reported that someone went into his garage after opening it. He discovered that someone had used his garage door opener from his unlocked car in his driveway. Several items were taken from inside of the garage.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM: 7500 block of Rawlins Rd., 8/9/18, 5:50 a.m. A resident was picking up his gun and accidentally pulled the trigger. The bullet struck his leg and he was taken to the emergency room where he received treatment. His injuries are not serious. We are currently following up with the Commonwealth’s Attorney Office in regards to possible charges.
