Two-Year-Old Boy Dies after Falling Off Balcony

Mason Police District –  The investigation continues today after a two-year-old boy fell from a balcony on the 24th floor of an apartment building. It happened around 4 yesterday afternoon in the 5600 block of Seminary Road in Falls Church. The child was pronounced dead at the scene. Our preliminary investigation shows there was an adult caregiver in the apartment tending to the needs of another child at the time of the fall. Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau and Crime Scene Unit are investigating.
