ROBBERY: 6900 block of Braddock Rd., 8/29/18, between 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. A man reported he was robbed by two men. The victim got into a car believing it was his Uber. The two men drove him to Braddock Road, told him to get out of the car, and punched him several times. They stole his wallet and left the area in a silver Toyota.

ANIMAL IN VEHICLE: 11181 Lee Highway (Walmart), 8/22/18, 2:15 p.m. A citizen reported that someone left their dog inside a hot car in the parking lot. When Animal Protection Police arrived, the owner had already removed the dog from the car. Lauris De Neef, 20, of Fairfax, was issued a summons for inadequate care of an animal. The dog was healthy and unharmed.
