ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 2800 block of Beacon Hill Road, 9/18/18, 2:06 a.m. An officer found 23 year-old Jason Bailey, of Alexandria, stumbling on the sidewalk. Officers also noted he matched the description of a robbery suspect. Mr. Bailey was stopped by officers and pushed them as he tried to flee. The officers were assisted by an unidentified good Samaritan in placing the man in handcuffs. Bailey was charged with drunk in public, obstruction of justice, and assault on a law enforcement officer. Bailey was also found to be wanted for malicious wounding and robbery.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 12600 block of Kettering Drive, 9/17/18, 11:02 p.m. Officers responded to a home for a report of bullets fired into the home. The responding officer heard two suspects whispering in the wooded area behind the victim’s home and identified himself to the suspects. The suspects quickly ran away through the wooded area and were not found. It is believed the suspects were patronizing a house party on the 12500 block of Quincy Adams Court. Evidence was collected from the home. There were no injuries.
