FCPD WEEKEND RECAP MONDAY, OCTOBER 15

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 5814 block of Hill Street, (MOWCOW Services Inc.), between 10-11 – 10-12-2018. The owner reported that his business had been burglarized sometime overnight. Several electronic items were taken.

ROBBERY: 5501 Union Mill Road, (Shell Gas Station), on 10-12-2018, 10:16 p.m. A lone employee was working when a man entered the store and pointed a handgun at the employee demanding money. An undisclosed amount of money was given to the suspect prior to him leaving the store. The suspect is described as a black man, around 20 years old, 5’5” and weighing about 180 pounds.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY / DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 8600 block of Highgate Road, between 10-08 – 10-12-2018. On October 12, a realtor checked on a property and noticed that both the front and rear doors were open. There was extensive damage from an unknown liquid to the floors of the house.

TRESPASSING: 2300 block of Glendale Terrace, 10-13-2018, 4:35 p.m. We responded for a suspicious person around a vacant home. While investigating the call we encountered a 15-year-old juvenile boy from Capitol Heights, Maryland inside the residence. The boy did not have permission to be in the residence and officers are following up with the homeowner about proceeding with charges.

STOLEN AUTO / OBSTRUCTION OF JUTICE: 6100 block of Richmond Highway, 10-14-2018, 10:52 p.m. Officers responded to a fight between two men. Both men were uncooperative with officers who determined they were driving a stolen SUV. Jaime Geisinger-Stott, 27, of Michigan was charged with unauthorized use and obstruction of justice. Luis Rivera, 37, of Michigan was charged with unauthorized use, stolen credit cards, giving false ID and obstruction of justice.

BURGLARY / DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 1572 block of Spring Hill Road, (Enterprise), 10-14-2018, between 12:01 – 8:10 a.m. When employees arrived to work in the morning they noticed that the front door had been smashed in. The business was broken into recently but this time nothing was taken. Detectives are following up on leads.

PEEPING: 6600 block of Buckskin Street, 10-12-2018, 12:23 a.m. The victim was home when he noticed someone looking into his house through his back door. The suspect ran away when he realized the homeowner saw him. The suspect was described as having a muscular build wearing a yellow and white t-shirt.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT: Little River Turnpike and Heritage Drive, 10-14-2018, 11:55 p.m. An officer was on patrol when he noticed a sedan with expired registration traveling on Little River Turnpike. When the officer attempted to stop the car, it took off at a high rate of speed eventually traveling into Maryland where the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was found abandoned in Maryland and the officer is actively investigating leads to identify the driver.
