FRAUD (SKIMMING DEVICE): 14001 Saint Germain Drive, (Navy Federal Bank), between 10-13 – 10-15-18. Police were notified after bank security personnel noticed a skimming device on an indoor ATM. Detectives believe the device was put in place on October 13, 2018.

ROBBERY: 5700 block of Seminary Road, 10-15-18, 11:44 p.m. The victim was using social media to sell several pairs of sneakers. Two men showed up to buy the sneakers. One of them pointed a handgun at the victim, took the sneakers and a phone from the victim before running from the area. One man was described as a Hispanic man, around 20 years old, 5’5” and weighing about 125 pounds. The second suspect was described as a black man, around 20 years old, 5’5”, around 130 pounds.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY: 4000 block of Iva Lane, between 10-14 – 10-15-18. The homeowner noticed a garage window open and work tools missing from his garage. He suspected that the garage had been burglarized sometime overnight.

7900 block of John Adams Court, 2014 Ford Focus
ROBBERY (ATTEMPT): 13047 Fair Lakes Shopping Center, (Target), 10-15-18, 9:05 p.m. The victim was selling a watch to an unknown subject and agreed to meet a buyer inside the Target. When the buyer arrived, he immediately grabbed the watch but was blocked by the victim. The suspect pushed her down, and ran to a car located in the parking lot, without taking the watch. The suspect was described as a black man with a beard and tattoos on both arms, wearing a gray T-shirt, black pants, gold and white shoes and a gold chain.
