FCPD Weekend Recap for Monday, October 22
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 13000 block of Bent Tree Circle, 10/20/18, 12:46 a.m. The victim was at the leasing office when four teens asked him for money. The victim ran home and the group followed. The teens assaulted the victim when he got home but ran away when a resident came outside. Nothing was taken and the victim was not injured.

PURSUIT: 6300 block of Richmond Highway, 10/21/18, 12:35 a.m. Officers were called to the area for a car that was driving around a parking lot, trying to block other cars in from leaving. When officers tried to speak with the driver, she drove off hitting an officer’s cruiser. Officers chased her car and ended the pursuit with a precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuver. The driver, Kendra Lafley, 46, of New York, was arrested and charged with hit and run, assault on a police officer, speed to elude and reckless driving.

ASSAULT AND UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE: 4100 block of Wadsworth Court, 10/21/18, 3:30 a.m. A group of men were drinking in the stairwell of an apartment building when the suspect told them to leave. As the group was leaving, the suspect hit one of the men in the head with a gun. He hit another man with the gun and intentionally fired one shot, but the bullet did not hit anyone. The suspect ran away.

LARCENY: 12197 Sunset Hills Road, 10/20/18, 10:40 p.m. Loss prevention reported a man was stealing merchandise. The man took off running when officers tried to stop him after he left the store with the stolen items. Officers quickly caught the suspect. Naim Arrak, 21, of Sterling, was charged with grand larceny, larceny with intent to sell, possession of schedule two narcotics and possession of schedule four narcotics.

BURGLARY: 5910 Farrington Avenue (Two Men and a Truck), between 10/18/18, 6:00 p.m. and 10/19/18, 7:30 a.m. Employees returned to work to find someone removed a window air conditioning unit to gain access to a management office sometime overnight. A safe was missing.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY: 6000 block of Woodedge Court, between 10/18/18, 5:00 p.m. and 10/19/18, 9:50 a.m. The victim left her garage door open overnight and discovered her bicycle missing the following day.

ROBBERY: Fair Lakes Parkway at West Ox Road, 10/21/18, 8:22 p.m. The victim was walking home from work when he was approached by two men. The suspects pushed him to the ground, took money and ran away. The victim was not injured.
