BURGLARY: 5841 Crossroads Circle (Carter’s), 10/24/18, 3:24 a.m. Employees returned to work to find the store was broken into and someone tried to get into the safe and cash register. Nothing was reported missing.
BURGLARY: 3523 South Jefferson Street (GNC), 10/24/18, 4:07 a.m. When officers responded to the store for an alarm, they found someone broke in and stole a safe.
BURGLARY: 3529 South Jefferson Street (Subway), overnight between 10/23 and 10/24/18. Employees returned to work to find someone entered the store, and took money from a safe.
BURGLARY: 3529 South Jefferson Street (Z Kabob), overnight between 10/23 and 10/24/18. The restaurant was broken into and cash was stolen.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 4100 block of West Ox Road, 10/24/18, 3:27 p.m. The victim was walking through a park when a man grabbed him from behind. The man tried to take the victim’s cell phone, but the victim fought back. The man was unsuccessful and ran away. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. The man was described as white, 5’8”-5’9”, thin build, wearing black clothing, sunglasses and gray sneakers.
