FCPD WEEKEND RECAP Tuesday, November 13
UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM: 6200 block of Astrid Court, 11/10/18, 6:54p.m. Ronald Rector, 60, of Centreville and his 27-year-old daughter were engaged in a verbal argument. Rector discharged his gun into the bedroom ceiling. Rector was charged with malicious discharge of a firearm, brandishing and simple assault.

BURGLARY: 2600 block of Arlington Drive, between 6:00 a.m. 11/10/18 and 9:00 p.m. 11/11/18. The victim reported two computers and cash stolen from their apartment.
BURGLARY: 2500 block of Belleview Avenue, 11/09/2018, between 7:00a.m. and 9:45p.m. A resident discovered someone had entered the home through an unlocked window and stole money from the home.

GRAND LARCENY: 1961 Chain Bridge Rd (Macys), 11/11/18, 4:12 p.m. Officers were notified by Macy’s loss prevention of three men putting merchandise by the door to steal. Officers arrived at the store as the men were running out with the stolen merchandise. They were caught within minutes after a short foot pursuit. Derlin Carcamo Alvarez, 21, Jorge Melendez Gonzalez, 20, and Wilson Mondrago Ochoa, 23, all of Falls Church, were charged with Grand Larceny.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 7414 Little River Turnpike (Safeway), 11/13/2018, 12:10a.m. Officers responded to the Safeway for Moris Ortiz Sandoval, 48, of Annandale, who was attempting to steal alcohol from the store. While attempting to place Ortiz Sandoval under arrest, he punched an officer and attempted to escape. The officer used his electronic control weapon to get the suspect under control and handcuffed. Sandoval was charged with larceny, assault and assault on law enforcement.

STOLEN AUTO / PURSUIT / APPREHENSION: 5652 Columbia Pike (Marathon Gas), 11/11/18, 11:54 p.m. The victim had gone inside the gas station and left the keys in the ignition of his 2010 Ford F150. Selemon Takele, 41, of Alexandria, got in the truck and drove off. Officers located and pursued Takele until he finally surrendered on Lee Jackson Memorial Highway adjacent to Fair Oaks Mall. He was charged with grand larceny auto, felony speed to elude, and driving while suspended. He was held on no bond.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: Loisdale Road and Loisdale Court, 11/10/18, 9:48p.m. Officers were called for a man lying on the sidewalk. Upon arriving on scene, they found Javier Sanchez, 28, of Fort Myer and requested rescue. While assisting the Sanchez into the ambulance, he punched a member of the fire department in the face. Sanchez was taken to an area hospital where he then punched an officer in the stomach. Sanchez was charged with being drunk in public, assault on a law enforcement officer and assault on a lifesaver/rescue squad member.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 4800 block of Randolph Drive, 11/09/18, 5:35a.m. A woman was at home when she heard footsteps coming from inside the home. She went to her living room, where she saw an unknown person walk out of the porch area and then ride away southbound on a bicycle. The suspect was described as unknown sex and race, approximately 5’3” tall and of stocky build wearing a green jacket with dark knit hat and black backpack
BURGLARY: 4800 block of Randolph Drive, 11/08/18, between 5:00p.m. and 10:41a.m. the next day. A resident reported sometime overnight someone entered her home and stole a blue Fuji Dynamite bicycle. It is believed this event may be related to the unlawful entry reported on the same block Friday morning.

ROBBERY: 13000 block of Shrewsbury Court, 11/10/18, 7:30p.m. Two juveniles were playing basketball, when two males approached them. The suspects implied that they had a gun and demanded money. The two victims gave the suspects cash, and the suspects left the area. The victims went home and reported the incident to their parents who dialed 911. The first suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately sixteen years old, around 5`8″ tall, weighing 180 pounds, wearing a grey sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. The second is described as Hispanic, weighing about 140 pounds, approximately sixteen years of age, with black short hair, wearing jeans and a multicolored sweatshirt. Officers searched the area but were unable to located the suspects.
ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 10520 Judicial Drive (Adult Detention Center), 11/09/18, 8:27a.m. An officer was taking Quishauna Harrison, 33, of Falls Church, into the jail for charges related to two separate assaults. After exiting the officer’s cruiser, Harrison kicked the officer before being restrained by deputies. Harrison was charged with assault on law enforcement, assault and battery on a family member, and assault and battery.
