UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 4900 block Southland Ave, 11/14/18, 10:05 a.m. A manager discovered a man inside an unrented apartment. The man was homeless and had entered through an unlocked door. He was asked to leave and walked away before the police arrived.

AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY: 3100 block of Post Forest Dr, 11/14/18, 5:22 p.m. Officers responded for a report of disorderly conduct and found 47-year-old Bruce Brown, of Fairfax, on top of a 13-year-old boy in the middle of the roadway. Officers removed Brown and learned the 13-year-old boy was walking through the apartment complex when Brown began running after him and tackled him in the roadway. Once on the ground, Brown grabbed the boy’s genital area several times before officers arrived and intervened. Brown was taken to the Adult Detention Center for aggravated sexual battery and held without bond. The victim received a minor injury during the assault.

ROBBERY: 9400 block of Virginia Center Blvd, 11/13/18, 11:20 p.m. A woman was walking near the Vienna Metro Station when a man walked up behind her and grabbed her purse that she was carrying on her shoulder. After a brief struggle, the purse straps broke and the man walked away with the purse towards the metro station. The man was described as approximately 5’ 8” tall 180 pounds wearing a dark hat, dark jacket and dark pants.
