ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 9000 block of Lorton Station Blvd, 10/20/2018, 11:44 p.m. A male approached two pedestrians near the Lorton Station shops. He displayed a black handgun and demanded their belongings. Nothing was taken and no one was injured. The suspect was described as a black male, between 15-20 years old, 5’8”, and 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored jacket with the hood raised. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

PURSUIT: I-66 W/B @ Route 123, 11/20/18, 11:29 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation. The driver of the car disregarded the officers’ lights and sirens and drove away. Afifa Ayaad Karaas Abdel Malek, 61, of Centreville, eventually stopped and was charged with misdemeanor speed to elude.
