STRONG ARM ROBBERY: 6298 Seven Corners Center (Ross), 1/2/19, 9 p.m. Two suspects grabbed a woman’s backpack after she left the store with her young child. The woman tried to hold on to her property and was pulled to the ground by the suspects who escaped with her backpack. The woman was not injured. The suspects were described as Hispanic teenaged boys.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/TRESPASSING/DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 4100 block of Woodland Road, 9:30 p.m. Officers responded to the home for a loud party call. Hundreds of partygoers ran from the home when officers arrived and a large amount of property damage was evident. Officers determined the house was a temporary rental property. Efrain Romero Cruz, 20, of Alexandria, refused to leave and was charged with drunk in public, disorderly conduct, and obstructing justice.

ROBBERY: 2500 block of Chain Bridge Road, between 1/1/19, 11:00 p.m. and 1/2/19 12:37 a.m. A group of men were walking when they were approached by another group of 3 to 5 Hispanic men wearing black masks. One of the masked men had a gun while the others had knives. The victims were robbed of their money, electronics, and other personal property. No one was injured.
