BOMB THREAT: 1890 Metro Center Drive (Kaiser Permanente), 1/24/19, 8:13 a.m. A note was found indicating a bomb threat, which resulted in the building being evacuated. Officers investigated and found nothing suspicious. Normal operations were then resumed.

STOLEN AUTO/PURSUIT/PIT: Northbound I-95 @ Old Keene Mill Road, 1/25/19, 3:15 a.m. An officer tried to stop a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta for a traffic violation and the driver sped away. The car entered northbound I-95 from Old Keene Mill Road when an officer conducted a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver which resulted in Larry Francois, 18, of Washington, D.C. , being taken into custody. Francois was treated for minor injuries and taken to the Adult Detention Center. He was charged with one count each of felony eluding police, grand larceny, petit larceny, possession of marijuana, and driving without a license. Francois is being held on no bond.
