ROBBERY: 8200 block of Russell Road, 02/21/19, 11:00 p.m. Two men were standing outside an apartment building when two other men approached them wearing masks. One of the masked men displayed a gun and demanded money. Money was taken and one of the victims was assaulted before the suspects ran away on foot. The first suspect is described as black, 20-23 years-old, 5’10”, slim build, wearing a dark jacket, jeans and a mask. The second suspect is described as black, 20-23 years-old, 6’1”, slim build, wearing a dark jacket, jeans and a mask.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5898 Leesburg Pike (Subway), 02/22/19, 1:16 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a commercial burglary alarm. The front door was damaged and the inside was in disarray. Nothing of value was taken. The suspect is described as a man, unknown race, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, gloves and a mask.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5509 Leesburg Pike (Filipino Global Supermarket), 02/22/19, 1:38 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a commercial burglary alarm and found the front door damaged. Nothing of value was taken. The suspect is described as a man, unknown race, tall, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a hat and gloves.
STABBING: 3501 South Jefferson Street (Babylon Café), 02/21/19, 2:14 a.m. Officers responded to the Babylon Café for a large group fighting in the parking lot. A man was found suffering from a stab wound and was taken to a local hospital for treatment for injuries that were not life threatening. There is no suspect information at this time.

BURGLARY OF OCCUPIED DWELLING: 6600 block of Dunwich Way, 02/21/19, 2:06 a.m. Officers responded for a residential burglary alarm. While officers were checking the area, a man ran out of the back yard of a nearby home and ran away from officers. After a short foot pursuit, he was arrested. Ismail Belfiroud, 22, of Alexandria, was arrested for burglary and resisting arrest.
