ROBBERY: 6327 South Kings Highway (7-Eleven), 02/27/19, 11:57 p.m. A man entered the 7-Eleven with a gun and demanded money. The suspect then took the money and ran away on foot. The suspect was black, in his 20s, wearing a mask, black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.

INDECENT EXPOSURE/ ASSAULT: 6500 Springfield Mall (Springfield Town Center), 02/27/19, 8:09 a.m. Officers were called for a man who followed a woman into the women’s restroom, grabbed the woman’s hand and placed it on his groin. The victim pulled her hand away while the suspect exposed himself. The victim called for help and the suspect ran away on foot. He was black, in his 20’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BRANDISHING A FIREARM: 8000 block of Dulciana Court, 02/27/19, 1:45 p.m. Officers were called for two men who were arguing outside an apartment. During the argument one man picked up a bat and the other man pointed a gun. The suspect with the gun then left the area in a car and was stopped by officers nearby. Darren Freeman, 34, of Springfield, was arrested for brandishing a gun and possession of a concealed weapon.

BURGLARY: 13000 block of Avonmore Drive, 02/27/19, 3:15 p.m. Two men were seen by the homeowner smashing the glass door with a gun and attempting to open it. The homeowner screamed and the two men ran away on foot. Both suspects were black, 17 to 20 years-old, one wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and the other wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
