STOLEN VEHICLE: 3200 block of Glen Carlyn Road, 3/14/19, 3:56 p.m. A man confronted four teenagers who entered his car and began to drive away. The teens exited the car and ran, but were located by officers a short distance away. They were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

BURGLARY/HIT & RUN/POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE/DWI: 1200 block of Thompson Run Court, 03/14/19, 7:55 p.m. Officers were searching the area for a suspect who ran from the scene of a hit and run crash. Around the same time, a nearby homeowner reported someone forced entry into their home. Officers checked the home and located Zachary Fossett, 23, of Ashburn, hiding in a closet. He was arrested and charged with hit and run, burglary, driving while intoxicated, possession of schedule I or II drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. An arrest photograph is currently not available.
