ROBBERY: 6000 block of Vista Drive, 4/17/19, 2:47 a.m. A man was walking home when he was assaulted by three men who took his cell phone. Responding officers located the three men and arrested them. Jacsson Fuentes Jurado, 18, of Arlington, and Francisco Camacho, 18, of Arlington, were charged with robbery. The juvenile was released to his parents, charges are pending.

ASSAULT/DESTRUCTION/HIT AND RUN: 5200 block of Garner Street, 4/16/19, 5:39 a.m. Officers responded to a home for an assault report. An investigation revealed the suspect destroyed property inside the home, hit the roommate and left in a car. While officers were obtaining warrants for the suspect, our dispatch received several hit and run calls matching the suspect’s description. Officers found Jose Velis, 31, of Springfield, near his car, which was on fire. Velis was taken into custody with the help of K-9 and helicopter units. Velis was charged with assault, destruction of property and felony hit and run.
