FCPD RECAP for Friday, April 19
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6330 Multiplex Drive (Exxon), 4/18/19, 3:57 a.m. Officers went to the Exxon for an alarm and found the front door shattered. Video surveillance was reviewed, and two juveniles were identified. Officers found the two juveniles at their residence and recovered stolen property. Both juveniles were arrested and charged with grand larceny, burglary and destruction of property.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6800 Richmond Highway (Giant), 4/19/19, 2:46 p.m. A man entered the Giant and began concealing property in a backpack. Loss prevention attempted to stop the man when he brandished a knife. Officers found Anthony Rivera, 28, of Woodbridge, attempting to leave and placed him under arrest. He was charged with robbery.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 8226 Russell Road (7-11), 4/19/19, 3:02 a.m. A man and woman entered the store grabbed an employee and demanded cash. Officers found Rodney Jenkins in the area. Surveillance footage confirmed Jenkins as the offender. He was arrested and charged with robbery. The female is described as white, 20-years-old, 5’4”, 130-140 lbs.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
NARCOTICS VIOLATION/FOOT PURSUIT: Alban Road/Springfield Oaks Road, 4/18/19, 6:19 p.m. Officers stopped a car for a traffic violation. A juvenile passenger ran from the car carrying a backpack. Officers caught the juvenile and located narcotics inside the backpack. The juvenile was released to his parents and petitions were obtained for possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice. Additional narcotics were located inside the car. The driver, Jonathan Gensel (no picture available), 18, of Springfield, was charged with possession of marijuana and failing to pay full time and attention.

NARCOTICS VIOLATION/POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY: 11900 block of Fair Oaks Mall, 4/19/19, 8:00 p.m. Officers patrolling the area found a suspicious car occupied by three people. The car smelled of marijuana and a search resulted in marijuana, thousands of dollars of stolen property and burglary tools. Foussenou Traore, 22, Aida Melcado, 18, and a juvenile all of New York were all arrested. Traore was charged with possession of burglarious tools and possession of stolen goods. Melcado was charged with possession of burglarious tools, possession of stolen goods, possession of marijuana and false identity to law enforcement. The juvenile was charged with possession of burglarious tools and possession of stolen goods.
