BURGLARY: 9600 block of Masey Mcquire Court, 4/25/19 9 p.m. Someone entered the home and stole a laptop.
BRANDISHING: 6100 block of Essex House Square, 04/26/19, 9:18 p.m. The Fire Department was cleaning up after an apartment fire was extinguished. The homeowner, Romulo Gutierrez, 61, of Alexandria, was escorted into the residence to retrieve property. Gutierrez retrieved a shotgun from a safe and pointed it at the firefighters. Gutierrez was arrested and charged with drunk in public, assault on a firefighter (3x) and brandishing of a firearm (4x).

NARCOTICS VIOLATION: 6200 block of Brandon Avenue, 04/27/19, 11:24 a.m. Officers responded for a complaint of an odor of marijuana coming from a room. A search of the room revealed a half pound of marijuana, THC oil, edibles, packaging material and money. Jalil McDonald, 26, of Maryland, was charged for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to sell Schedule I. Brittany Washington, 25, of Washington D.C., was charged for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to sell Schedule I and false identification to law enforcement.
