DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/GRAFFITI/BIAS INCIDENT: 6500 Quander Road (West Potomac High School), 5/18/19, 6:15 a.m. School security found graffiti on the property. Derogatory statements and male genitalia were spray painted sometime overnight.
ROBBERY: 4100 block of Main Street, 05/18/19, 12:30 a.m. While returning to his apartment, two men approached the victim, assaulted him and took his cell phone. The suspects ran away and are described as two black males.

PRESCRIPTION FRAUD/CONCEALED WEAPON: 1452 Chain Bridge Road (CVS), 5/19/19, 11:10 a.m. A pharmacist received a fraudulent prescription and notified our officers. The man arrived to pick up his medicine and was arrested. A loaded handgun with an extended magazine was found concealed in his backpack. Jeffery Queen, 18, of Maryland, was charged with obtaining drugs by fraud, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in certain specified localities and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

CARJACKING: 11800 block of Sunrise Valley Drive, 05/18/19, 5:30 a.m. The victim was putting air into his 2016 Chevrolet Suburban’s tire when a masked suspect appeared from the woods, pointed a shotgun at the victim and demanded the keys. The suspect drove away but was tracked to an area nearby. As officers approached the stolen car, the suspect ran away. Our K9 team caught the 17-year-old male from Maryland. He was charged with carjacking and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
