Detectives Arrest Burglar; Asking for Public’s Help Linking to Possible Additional Cases
Franconia Police District – A 55-year-old Annandale man is facing burglary charges after a resident confronted the man inside his home in the 5500 block of Belfast Place in Springfield on May 23. Officers responded and found Stephen Anderson trying to get away in a car. A traffic stop was initiated, and Anderson was arrested for burglary. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Detectives believe Anderson may be responsible for other burglaries in locations throughout the county. The below images are believed to be Anderson during a previous burglary.
