UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE: 6600 block of Holland Street, 05/28/19, 3:42 p.m. A resident was cleaning his target rifle when his finger depressed the trigger, causing the gun to go off. Debris from the bullet bounced off the floor and lodged into his eye. The man was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries. Charges will be determined pending consultation with the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 7700 Gunston Plaza (Dollar Tree), 05/28/19, 11:59 p.m. A man entered the store, punched an employee in the back of the head and demanded money from the cash register. The manager heard the commotion and confronted the man, who ran away without taking anything. The suspect is described as a black man about 5”10” in his mid-20s.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ROBBERY: 9200 block of Cardinal Forest Lane, 05/29/19, 1:13 a.m. The victim was walking home when he was knocked to the ground from behind by three men. The men took his cell phone and wallet and ran away. The suspects are described two black men and one Hispanic man. They were all about 6 feet tall and wearing black hooded sweatshirts.
BURGLARY: 5500 block of Great Tree Court, 05/28/19, 10:36 a.m. An unknown person entered the house and took personal property overnight.

SEX OFFENSE: 11750 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway (Chick-fil-A) A 32-year-old man is facing three counts of solicitation of a minor using a communication device and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor. Abelardo Daniel Medianero Salazar, of Falls Church, was arrested May 23 after detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau’s Sex Crimes Squad received a complaint of a sex offense involving a juvenile victim.
