BURGLARY: 3000 block of Fordson Road, 6/26/19, 12:49 p.m. Someone entered the victim’s home and stole personal items.
STOLEN VEHICLE/PURSUIT: Richmond Highway/Kings Village Road, 6/26/19, 2:08 a.m. Officers located a stolen vehicle occupied by two men. A traffic stop was attempted but both men ran off. One of the suspects was located and Tyson Williams, 18, of Temple Hills MD, was charged with receiving stolen property and obstruction of justice. The driver was described as black, in his 20s.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 11300 block of Geddys Court 6/26/19, 1:27 p.m. A realtor entered a home and found a man sleeping in one of the bedrooms. The man ran off before officers arrived. He was described as white, in his 20s.

GRAND LARCENY/STOLEN VEHICLE/PURSUIT/PIT: 6699 Springfield Mall (JC Penny), 6/26/19, 4:19 p.m. Loss prevention officers saw two men conceal merchandise. Officers arrived and located a stolen car parked outside. One of the men, Janaro Febuary, 29, of Washington, D.C., tried to run away but was caught by officers. Shawn Grant, 30, of Washington, D.C., drove away in the stolen car; officers conducted a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver which resulted in Grant being taken into custody. Febuary was charged with receiving stolen property and grand larceny. Grant was charged with three counts of destruction of property, three counts of assault on law enforcement, grand larceny, receiving stolen property, disregard police command to stop, prevent officer from making arrest and false ID to law enforcement. No photo available. Both men are held at the Adult Detention Center without bond.

ARMED ROBBERY: Pohick Road/Whernside Street, 6/26/19, 3:13 a.m. The victim was approached by three men. One of the men showed a gun and took the victim’s cell phone and sneakers before running off. They were described as black men in their late teens.
