STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY: 6600 block of Richmond Highway, 08/06/19, 4:24 p.m. Officers responded to the area for a lookout given for a stolen, black Toyota 4-Runner. The SUV was seen driving into the parking lot of Target where it was stopped by Officers. The four occupants were arrested and include one adult male and three juveniles. The vehicle was reported stolen from Alexandria City, VA one week prior. The adult male, Joseph Alexander Guzman Palamo, 19, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Auto. Charges are pending for the juvenile occupants.

CRITICAL INJURY CRASH: 6000 block of Arlington Boulevard, 8/6/19, 12:52 p.m. A man was driving eastbound on Arlington Boulevard when he changed lanes to his right. A motorcycle was already traveling in that lane when the motorcycle was laid down and avoided a collision. The rider came to rest under a stopped pickup truck whose driver was unaware of the crash. The pickup truck moved forward, running over the motorcyclist. The patient was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
