PURSUIT/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: Audubon Avenue/Janna Lee Avenue, 8/23/19, 9:37 p.m. Officers saw a parked car with no lights on and the windows heavily fogged. They walked toward the car and it drove off at a high rate of speed nearly hitting them. An officer in a cruiser saw the incident and pursued the car. The driver hit a parked car and ran off. Irvin Budd, 29, of Maryland, was found nearby and charged with assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, disregard police signal to stop, hit and run, reckless driving and driving without a license.

BURGLARY: 7000 block of Bedrock Road, 8/24/19, 5:46 p.m. Someone entered a garage and stole a bicycle. Officers saw a juvenile riding the stolen bicycle and arrested him. Petitions will be sought for the burglary.
ROBBERY: 14400 block of Creek Branch Court, 8/25/19, 2:30 a.m. The victim was walking to a friend’s house when he was approached by a man who displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspect is described as a black man, in his 20s.
ASSAULT WITH WEAPON: 8400 block of Richmond Hwy, 8/25/19, 2:18 a.m. Two men got into an argument. One of the men stabbed the other with a box cutter. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. Agustin Marcos Ramirez, 29, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/LARCENY: 5300 block of Ellzey Drive, 8/24/19, 7:39 p.m. A man stole pizza from a delivery driver. When officers found the man, he tried to punch an officer as he was being taken into custody. Gregory Heller, 48, of Fairfax, was charged with assault on law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

ASSAULT: 2400 block of Glengyle Drive, 8/23/19, 10:11 p.m. Two teenagers were sitting on the porch of a house when three suspects approached and assaulted them. The teens were not seriously injured and declined medical treatment. The suspects were described as Hispanic males in their late teens.
