BURGLARY: 2812 Franklin Street (Iglesia Adventista del Deptimo Dia), 9/26-9/27/19, between 9:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Someone broke into the church and damaged the property.
ROBBERY: 8200 block of Russell Road, 9/29/19, 3:04 p.m. The victim was walking in front of a store and was punched by an unknown man who stole money from his wallet. The suspect fled on foot and was described as a black man, 5’7”, thin and wearing a red hat.

IDENTITY THEFT: 1961 Chain Bridge Road (AT&T store), 9/27/19, 3:17 p.m. A woman attempted to purchase a cell phone with a fake driver’s license and fake credit card. A store employee called police and the woman fled on foot. Officers quickly found her and after a brief foot chase, she was arrested. Amber Murphy, 23, of Maryland was charged with identity fraud, credit card theft, obtain money by false pretenses, possess fictitious driver’s license and resisting arrest.

ASSAULT: 4800 block of Leesburg Pike, 9/28/19, 11:15 a.m. The victim was involved in a traffic dispute. The suspect exited a white van, displayed a knife and made verbal threats. The victim was not harmed and the suspect drove away. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 25-30-years-old and medium length hair.
INDECENT EXPOSURE: 3300 block of Gallows Road, 9/28/19, 4:57 p.m. Two separate victims saw a man driving in a black Mini-Cooper exposing and inappropriately touching himself. The suspect was described as a white man, 40-50-years-old, skinny with white or gray hair.
STOLEN AUTO: Little River Turnpike/Roberts Avenue, 9/27/19, 10:40 a.m. A man recently reported his car stolen in a neighboring jurisdiction. The man then saw his car being driven and contacted police, who arrested Ahmed Mohamed, 32, of Annandale. He was charged with receiving stolen property.

STABBING: 6900 block of Hechinger Plaza, 9/29/19, 9:01 p.m. Two men were stabbed after becoming involved in an altercation in a restaurant. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, 5’5”, with long dark hair.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
MALICIOUS WOUNDING/HIT & RUN: 8100 block of Lorton Road, 9/29/19, 5:32 p.m. A man rear-ended the victim’s car and fled the accident scene. The victim followed the car until the driver stopped in a parking lot. The driver then began to punch the victim, which caused serious injury. The driver was identified and warrants for malicious wounding, hit and run and suspended license were obtained.
