ROBBERY: 6138 North Kings Highway (7-Eleven), 10/23/19, 11:39 p.m. A man entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. The suspect took cash then left the area. He was described as a black man, 5’6”, thin build wearing a dark hoodie, gray pants and a mask.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 5518 Leesburg Pike (Designer Shoe Warehouse), 10/23/19, 7:12 p.m. A man entered the store and concealed several pairs of shoes. When an employee confronted the suspect, he threatened her with a box cutter and ran out of the store. Officers quickly found the man in the parking lot and placed him under arrest. Mohamed Abdi, 37, of Falls Church was charged with robbery.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BRANDISHING A FIREARM: Lake Braddock Drive & Olley Lane, 10/24/19, 1:10 a.m. Officers were called for a man brandishing a rifle in the area. Officers found a man who was repeatedly loading and unloading a rifle. Michael Ghali, 31, of Fairfax, was arrested and charged with brandishing a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school.
