TRAFFIC PURSUIT/DWI: Richmond Highway/Sherwood Hall Lane, 12/06/19, 11:41 p.m. A community member reported a reckless driver on southbound Richmond Hwy. An officer saw the 2013 Toyota Prius and signaled for the driver to stop. The driver sped away and after a pursuit, officers were able to stop the car. The driver tried to run from the car but was arrested by officers. Girma Yohannes, 43, of Alexandria, was charged with speed to elude, DWI and refusal of blood or breath test.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: 8028 Leesburg Pike, Vienna (Marriott), 12/06/19, 10:12 a.m. The victim, who resides in Florida, called the hotel to report that someone was using her credit card and making fraudulent charges at the hotel. Officers arrived and were directed to the reserved room. Julian Patricia Wilson, 28, of California, was arrested and charged with credit card theft.

BURGLARY: 7000 block of Hundsford Drive, 12/07/19, 7:41 a.m. Someone entered a garage and took personal items.

ROBBERY: 7800 Block of Heritage Drive, 12/08/19, 3:28 p.m. The victim was assaulted by two suspects, who then took his money. The suspects are described as black men in their late teens or early 20s.
