TRAFFIC PURSUIT: Richmond Highway/Central Avenue, 12/23/19, 11:22 p.m. An officer attempted to stop a Toyota Scion for a traffic violation. The driver sped off resulting in a pursuit. Isaac Sarpong, 29, of Fredericksburg pulled over a short time later. He was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I/II drug, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended/revoked license and eluding.

TRAFFIC PURSUIT: Leesburg Pike/Rio Drive, 12/26/19, 12:32 a.m. An officer saw a Lexus sedan stopped in the middle of a traffic lane. A man was asleep in the driver’s seat. When he woke up, he disregarded the officer’s orders and sped off. After a brief pursuit, Melvin Cordon-Mejia, 37, of Alexandria pulled over and was charged with driving while intoxicated, no driver’s license, obstruction of justice and eluding.

BURGLARY: 13200 block of Leafcrest Lane, 12/24/19, 12:28 p.m. Someone entered a home and stole property.
TRAFFIC PURSUIT: I-66 at Chain Bridge Road, 12/25/19, 12:40 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a Chevrolet truck for a traffic violation. The driver sped off resulting in a pursuit. The driver, Eric Rasmussen, 28, of Vienna, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and eluding.
