ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 14000 block of Lotus Lane, 12/30/19 9:22 p.m. The victim was walking home when he was assaulted by 3-4 suspects. The suspects tried to take personal items but were not successful and ran away. The suspects are described as Hispanic teenagers.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 5800 block of Seminary Road, 12/30/19 4 a.m. A man was escorted out of a restaurant. Once outside, he began to argue with the victim and then stabbed the victim. Timothy Benitoe, 34, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, possession of marijuana and possession of schedule I/II narcotics.
