ROBBERY: 5900 block of Fort Drive, 1/2/20, 6:20 a.m. The victim was approached by two men who displayed a knife and a handgun. The two men assaulted him and stole personal property. One suspect was described as a black man, 6’1”, 170 pounds and 25-30 years old. The other suspect was described as a black man, 6’2”, 250 pounds and 25-30 years old. Both suspects were last seen running away from the area.

STABBING: 7900 block of Fordson Road, 1/5/20, 6:44 a.m. A man broke into a home of a previous acquaintance and began fighting with the residents. The man was stabbed during the fight and left the home. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were originally believed to be life threatening. The man is now in stable condition and detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led up to the stabbing.
LARCENY/ASSAULT: 2800 Beacon Hill Road (7-Eleven), 1/3/20, 12:23 p.m. A man confronted an employee and demanded a refund for an item he purchased. When the refund was denied, the man assaulted the clerk and took cash from the register. Carl Neal Jr., 27, of Fredericksburg, was charged with grand larceny, assault and possession of marijuana.

ROBBERY: 3700 block of South George Mason Drive, 1/5/20, 8:58 p.m. The victim met with the suspect to sell him a phone. She immediately realized the man did not look like the profile picture of the individual she had been communicating with. The suspect, a black man with curly hair, forcefully took the phone from her and implied he had a gun. No gun was seen. The man was seen leaving the area in a silver 4 door Honda.

ROBBERY: 2800 block of Running Pump Lane, 1/3/20, 3:43 p.m. The victim was offered a job and got into the suspect’s car. The victim was assaulted and his personal property was stolen by the man. The suspect was described as a black man with a tall muscular build between 40 and 50 years old. He was last seen driving away in a black four door sedan.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 9500 block of Blake Lane, 1/4/20, 12:01 a.m. The victim reported he had been stabbed by an unknown man while standing outside with friends. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries deemed not life threatening. The suspect ran away and is described as a Hispanic man in his mid to late 20s.
BURGLARY: 12700 block of Lady Somerset Lane, 1/4/20, 3:09 p.m. Someone broke into the home and stole property.
