COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 14533 Lee Road (7-Eleven), 1/17/20, 3:56 a.m. A man jumped behind a counter where two clerks were standing. He displayed a gun and stole items then ran out of the store. The suspect is described as a 20-30-year-old Hispanic man.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6140 Richmond Highway (Moon Inn Hotel), 1/17/20, 10:47 p.m. A man entered the lobby, assaulted the clerk and displayed a knife while demanding money. The suspect is described as a 45-55-year-old black man. The victim was treated at a nearby hospital for injuries that were not life threatening.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF FIREARM: 8517 Leesburg Pike (Embassy Suites), 1/19/20, 11 a.m. A man reported that he accidently discharged a gun inside of his hotel room. The bullet was located inside of a wall and nobody was injured. Brendan Steuble, 50, of Great Falls, was arrested and charged with reckless handling of a firearm, discharge a firearm within a building and drunk in public.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 2525 Centreville Road (CVS), 1/20/20, 8 a.m. The suspect went behind the counter, displayed a knife to the clerk and demanded cash from the registers. The suspect is described as a black man, late teen to early 20s wearing dark clothing.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 1900 Campus Commons Drive (Streetshares), 1/19/20, 5:55 p.m. Someone entered the business and stole property.
ROBBERY: 13200 block of Poener Place, 1/18/20, 1:01 p.m. Two victims were walking on the sidewalk when they were approached by two men who demanded their cell phones. One of the victims was punched in the stomach. Both victims relinquished their phones and the suspects ran from the area. The first suspect is described as a 20-30-year-old heavy set Hispanic man with a full beard. The second suspect is described as an 18-21-year-old Hispanic man.

VEHICLE TAMPERING: 7200 block of Auburn Street, 1/18/20, 1:25 a.m. Someone reported a man was trying to open car doors. A responding officer heard a car alarm going off and saw a man running from the car. The man was taken into custody and found to be in possession of several stolen items. Hassan Jalloh, 19, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with two counts of credit card theft, three counts of petit larceny, two counts of vehicle trespass, obstruction of justice, underage possession of alcohol and destruction of property.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ROBBERY: Rippled Creek/Southrun Road, 1/19/20, 7:12 p.m. The victim was standing near his van when the suspect approached him and asked him for directions. The suspect then displayed a gun and stole the victim’s wallet. The suspect is described as a black man, late teen early 20s, slender and about 5’9” to 5’10”. The suspect ran away westbound on Southrun Road.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5609 Guinea Road (Public Storage), 1/19/20, 9:15 a.m. Someone broke into the business overnight and stole property.
