ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 8600 block of Lee Highway, 3/13/20, 10:35 p.m. The victim was walking through a parking lot when he was approached by a man who demanded his wallet and phone. The suspect assaulted the victim after he refused to turn over any property. The suspect is described as black, heavy set and wearing dark clothing.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 3300 block of Glenmore Drive, 3/13/20, 9:50 p.m. A man was approached by five juveniles. One of the juveniles asked the victim a question and then assaulted him. The five juveniles then ran away. One of the juveniles is described as wearing a dark colored hoodie.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7700 Little River Turnpike (Bara Pharmacy), 3/15/20, 1:50 a.m. Someone broke into the pharmacy and stole merchandise.
ROBBERY: 4100 block of Wadsworth Court, 3/15/20, 5:34 p.m. The victim was inside of a friend’s home when three men assaulted him and stole his wallet. The three suspects, described as Hispanic men, then ran out of the house.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 8505 Arlington Boulevard (Hann’s Pharmacy), 3/15/2020, 3:38 a.m. Someone broke into the pharmacy and stole merchandise. The suspect is described as a thin man wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BARRICADE/WARRANT ARREST: 7600 block of Chancellor Way, 3/16/20, 7:10 a.m. Officers attempted to serve arrest warrants upon a man inside a home who refused to surrender. Additional resources were deployed before the man exited the home and was safely taken into custody. Boyd Murphy, 49, of Springfield, was served with arrest warrants for domestic assault and battery and felony strangulation. He was held without bond.
