ROBBERY: 4100 block of Novar Drive, 3/29/20, 6:44 p.m. The victim arranged to meet the suspect to purchase a speaker. When the victim pulled out the money, the suspect grabbed the money, assaulted the victim and ran away. The victim was not injured. The suspect, who was identified as a juvenile, was arrested and charged with robbery.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 3900 block of El Soneta Place, 3/27/20, 11:03 p.m. The victims were awakened by the sound of glass breaking. The suspect entered a bedroom and assaulted the victims who received minor injuries. Giovanni Toloza, 42, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with burglary, felony and misdemeanor destruction of property and two counts of simple assault. Toloza was held without bond.

STOLEN AUTO/DWI: 2800 block of Mary Street, 3/28/20, 8:27 a.m. Officers located an inoperable shuttle bus that had recently been reported stolen. The driver, Jay Swann, 51, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving while intoxicated and driving without a valid license. He was held without bond.
