UPDATE: Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash Victim Identified
Sully Police District – The victim of the April 2 fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Centreville has been identified as Adriana Swinson, 60, of Centreville. Next of kin have been notified.

Fatal Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Crash in Centreville
Sully Police District – A woman died overnight as a result of injuries from a hit-and-run crash that occurred around 12:51 a.m. at Lee Highway and Prince Way in Centreville. Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit have preliminarily determined that the woman was in the southbound lanes of Lee Highway when she was struck by a passing car. The driver fled the scene; a description of the car is currently not available. Identification of the pedestrian is pending further investigation and notification of next of kin.
