DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Lee Highway/Stringfellow Road, 4/29/20, 12:27 a.m. A man was seen walking into traffic and throwing branches at passing cars. Officers arrived and encountered the man who threw a branch at an officer’s car and ran away. Officers found him nearby and while taking him into custody, he assaulted an officer. Ashok Karki, 27, of Centreville, was charged with throwing a missile at an occupied vehicle, assault on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.

WARRANT SERVICE: 2900 block of Wickersham Way, 4/29/20, 9:21 p.m. A man was seen acting disorderly and trying to steal his ex-girlfriends car. Officers arrived and the man walked into an apartment and refused to come out. He was taken into custody while trying to escape out the rear of the apartment. Lewis Rose, 33, of Reston, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for burglary and grand larceny.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Town Center Parkway/Baron Cameron Avenue, 4/30/20, 10:35 p.m. Three men approached a woman at a bus stop, displayed a firearm and demanded money and her cell phone. The men ran away after the woman flagged down a passing motorist. The suspects were described as 18-year-old white men wearing dark clothing.
