BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 3400 block of Beechcraft Drive, 5/7/20, 11:24 p.m. Homeowners heard a noise coming from their locked front door. They checked the door and saw a man holding two knives inside their house. The homeowners held the man down until police arrived and charged Benjamin Will, 29, of Alexandria with burglary with a deadly weapon.

ROBBERY: 6300 block of Arlington Boulevard, 5/7/20, 8 p.m. A man was using the ATM when another man approached him, displayed a firearm and demanded money. The victim relinquished money to the suspect who left in a maroon Toyota Corolla. He was described as a 18 to 24-year-old black man wearing dark clothing.
