SULLY DISTRICT STATION

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 5800 block of Post Corners Trail, 5/24/20, 7:14 p.m. A man accidentally discharged a gun inside an apartment. The bullet went through a window and into an exterior wall outside causing property damage. No one was injured and charges are pending.

POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS: 4500 block of Brookfield Corporate Drive, 5/24/20, 10:55 p.m. A man ran from officers during a narcotics investigation but was found a short distance away. Edwin Bonilla, 19, of Woodbridge, was found to be in possession of narcotics, packaging material and a scale. He was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell/distribute schedule I or II drug, possession with intent to sell/distribute marijuana, falsely identify self to law enforcement and obstruction of justice. Four additional outstanding warrants for probation violation, failure to appear in court for a felony offense, violation of conditions of release and failure to appear after charged with a felony were also served.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENY/POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS: 1500 Cornerside Boulevard (Walmart), 5/24/20, 6:39 p.m. Officers stopped two men and a woman in the parking lot who were involved in a theft from Walmart. Officers recovered the stolen merchandise as well as narcotics and a handgun. Melissa Potts, 22, of Maryland, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule I or II drug, possession of schedule I or II drug while possessing a firearm and obstruction of justice. Kale Scott, 19, of Maryland, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule I or II drug and possession of schedule I or II drug while possessing a firearm. Dominique Wilson, 25, of Maryland, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule I or II drug, possession of schedule I or II drug while possessing a firearm, possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice and petit larceny.

SHOOTING INTO AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE: North Shore Drive/Becontree Lane, 5/22/20, 12:50 p.m. A man and woman were driving in the neighborhood when two men shot at their SUV. The suspect vehicle drove off. There were no injuries reported and the parties are known to each other. Charges are pending.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC/INDECENT EXPOSURE: 2400 block of Centreville Road, 5/22/20, 7:50 p.m. A man was running through a parking lot naked acting erratically. Officers arrived and took him into custody. Carlos Ashe, 35, of Ashburn, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and drunk in public.
