FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A FELON: Lorton Road/Lorton Market Street, 5/28/20, 5:19 p.m. A passenger ran from officers after the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped for a traffic violation. Kemartre Bowden, 25, of Hampton, was taken into custody after a brief pursuit and was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun. Bowden was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, concealed carry weapon violation, possession of a stolen firearm, obstruction of justice and possession of marijuana. Additional outstanding warrants for possession of schedule I or II drug and eluding were served.
