VEHICLE PURSUIT/GRAND LARCENY: Leesburg Pike/Nevius Street, 6/3/20, 2:42 p.m. Officers located a 2009 Mercedes SUV that was involved in a theft from a nearby business. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop initiating a pursuit. The SUV stopped momentarily and a passenger ran but was taken into custody. The driver sped off again but the pursuit was terminated. Robert Cooper, 38, of Maryland, was charged with grand larceny, larceny with intent to sell or distribute and falsely identify self to law enforcement. Two additional outstanding warrants for grand larceny and probation violation were served.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5623 Columbia Pike (Bailey’s Pharmacy), 6/3/20, 2:48 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and discovered the rear door showed signs of forced entry. The investigation revealed two men broke into the business and stole merchandise. The suspects were described as 20 t0 30-years old.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 8915 Ox Road (Sunoco Gas Station), 6/3/20, 4:08 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and discovered the front door open and merchandise scattered on the ground. The investigation revealed a man broke into the business, discharged a handgun inside the store causing property damage and stole merchandise.
DWI/HIT AND RUN: 5200 block of Rolling Road, 6/3/20, 10:51 p.m. Officers located a car involved in a hit and run crash that just occurred. The driver was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated when he became disorderly and damaged a cruiser. He was taken to a hospital for minor injuries. Diana Udom, 24, of Fairfax, was charged with driving while intoxicated, destruction of property and hit and run. Photo not available.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 3900 Fair Ridge Drive (Hilton Garden Inn), 6/3/20, 3:36 a.m. A man approached an employee at the front desk, displayed a weapon and demanded money. The suspect, described as black man wearing dark clothing, stole property and ran away.
