COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7652 Richmond Highway (DTLR), 6/5/20, 3:50 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and discovered the front of the store smashed in. The investigation revealed a car backed into the store front and a group of individuals entered the business and stole merchandise.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5940 Richmond Highway (Virginia ABC), 6/7/20, 3:02 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and discovered the front door shattered and bottles of alcohol on the ground inside the store. The investigation revealed a group of individuals broke into the business and stole merchandise.
RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 6600 block of Tower Drive, 6/7/20, 11:00 p.m. Officers responded to the area for the sound of possible gunshots and heard additional gunshots but did not locate anyone or shell casings. Witnesses saw a man run from the area holding a handgun. The suspect was described as a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic man.

STOLEN AUTO: Dolley Madison Boulevard/Anderson Road, 6/6/20, 7:56 p.m. Officers saw a 2003 GMC Envoy on the shoulder with the hazard lights on and discovered the SUV had been reported stolen. The driver, identified as a teenager, was taken into custody and charges are pending.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 7200 block of Arlington Boulevard, 6/7/20, 12:09 a.m. Two men were arguing in a parking lot when one of the men assaulted the other with a hammer. The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. The suspect, who was described as a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic man, drove away.
