COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5940 Richmond Highway (Virginia ABC), 6/29/20, 2:04 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and found the front window shattered and the rear door open. The investigation revealed a group of individuals broke into the business and stole merchandise. The suspects were described as black men wearing dark clothing.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

TRAFFIC PURSUIT: Interstate 95/Pohick Road, 6/29/20, 11:16 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a 2007 Mercedes-Benz G500 for an equipment violation and the driver refused to stop resulting in a pursuit. The driver eventually pulled over and was taken into custody. Jermaine Washington, 42, of Lorton, was charged with eluding. Additional outstanding warrants for abduction and assault on a family member along with an emergency protective order were served.
