SULLY DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 13000 block of Braddock Road, 9/20/20, 9:50 p.m. A victim reported he was given a ride by an unknown man who threatened him and took his money. The victim was not injured. Officers investigated and determined the crime occurred hours earlier at an unknown location.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 2700 block of Arlington Drive, 9/18/20, 4:30 p.m. The victim was sitting in a park when a man approached him and took cash from his pocket. A struggle ensued but the man ran away and was not found. The victim was not injured.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING/STABBING: 6100 Richmond Highway (Days Inn), 9/19/20, 3:52 a.m. Officers responded to a report of two men fighting and found one of the men suffering from an apparent stab wound. The suspect was not found. The injured man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING/STABBING: 2600 block of Arlington Drive, 9/20/20, 10:33 p.m. During an argument between two men, one man was stabbed and taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. Officers located John Fairley, 53, of Alexandria, who was still holding the knife. Fairley was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 8100 block of Larkin Lane, 9/19/20, 11:48 p.m. A homeowner was awakened by the sound of glass breaking on the lower level of the house. The homeowner investigated further and was confronted by an unknown man inside the house. Officers arrested Devaughn Rice, 32, of Fredericksburg, who was charged with unlawful entry.

STOLEN AUTO/FOOT PURSUIT: 2800 block of Lee Landing Court, 9/24/20, 3:14 a.m. Officers located a 1998 Honda Accord that was reported stolen earlier in the evening. A juvenile ran from the car resulting in a brief foot pursuit. The juvenile was arrested and charged with grand larceny, possession of burglarious tools and obstruction of justice. An officer suffered a minor injury during the foot pursuit.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

GRAND LARCENY/FOOT PURSUIT: 6210 Seven Corners Center (Home Depot), 9/19/20, 2:01 p.m. Officers confronted a man who left the store with stolen merchandise. The man ran away but was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. John Mulgrew, 30, was charged with grand larceny and possession of burglarious tools. He was also charged with two counts of grand larceny for prior thefts from the store.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING/STABBING: 7200 block of Arlington Boulevard, 9/18/20, 6:14 p.m. During a fight involving two men, one man was stabbed and the suspect ran away. The injured man was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life threatening.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

COMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6601 Springfield Mall (Dick’s Sporting Goods), 9/22/20, 8:13 p.m. Two women entered the store and attempted to take merchandise without paying. The women were confronted by store employees when one of the women pepper sprayed the employees. Both women ran away with the merchandise. No injuries were reported.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING/STABBING: 6600 block of Frontier Dr, 9/23/20, 12:25 p.m. The victim reported that he was approached by a man who asked for a cigarette. The victim declined and the man became angry, stabbed the victim and ran away. The victim reported minor injuries.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 3600 block of Joseph Siewick Drive, 9/24/20, 11:45 a.m. An officer stopped a 1998 Honda CRV that was stolen from a neighboring jurisdiction. The driver, Jeremy Peters, 38, of Manassas, was charged with grand larceny.
