SULLY DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 4100 block of Meadowland Court, 11/27/20, 7:09 p.m. The victim attempted to sell his cell phone to two men. The men displayed handguns, assaulted the victim, took his property, then ran away. The victim was treated for injuries that were not life threatening.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

SHOOTING (UPDATE FROM 11/25/20): 3400 block of Great Lakes Street, 11/25/20, 4:41 a.m. Officers responded for a shooting inside a home and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were life threatening. Detectives charged Desiree Campbell, 29, of Alexandria, with aggravated malicious wounding. Preliminarily, detectives believe Campbell and the victim knew each other and this was not a random act of violence.

VEHICLE PURSUIT/WARRANT SERVICE: Richmond Highway at Old Mount Vernon Road, 11/26/20, 4:04 p.m. An officer attempted to stop a 2010 Nissan X-Terra for a traffic violation but the driver refused, leading to a pursuit. The driver continued a short distance before stopping where officers arrested Sarah Trejo Castillo, 21, of Alexandria. She was charged with speed to elude, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license and was served with an outstanding warrant for larceny.

ASSAULT: 8400 block of Madge Lane, 11/28/20, 12:57 a.m. A woman reported that she arranged to meet a man after speaking online. Once they met, the man assaulted the woman and left the area. The woman was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life threatening.

ROBBERY: 8500 block of Towne Manor Court, 11/29/20, 9:21 p.m. A man was walking to his home when he was approached by four unknown men who assaulted him and took his personal property. Two of the men ran away from the area while the other two left on bicycles. The victim suffered injuries that were not life threatening.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 13500 block of Virginia Randolph Avenue, 12/03/20, 8:52 p.m. A woman entered the common area of an apartment complex when a man approached, implied he had a gun and demanded her personal property.  The man took the property and ran away.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO: 8474 Terminal Road (Dominion Towing), 11/29/20, 7:23 p.m. A woman and a juvenile unlawfully entered the property, stole a 2015 Dodge Charger and drove it through a security fence. Officers found the car nearby and arrested Grace Araham, 18, of Alexandria. She was charged with felony destruction of property, stolen auto, defrauding a garage keeper and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 5578 Vincent Gate Terrace (Panera Bread), 11/25/20, 2:19 p.m. A witness saw two men walk into the bathroom and then heard a gunshot. Both men walked away from the area. Officers arrived and found a bullet hole in the wall of the bathroom. No injuries were reported.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY ATTEMPT: 4700 block of Commons Drive, 11/25/20, 4:16 p.m. A food delivery driver was approached by a man who displayed a knife and demanded money. The driver punched the man who then ran away. No injuries were reported.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED BANK ROBBERY: 3915 Centreville Road (Apple Federal Credit Union), 12/1/20, 4:14 p.m. A man entered the building and approached the teller with a note demanding money. The man left without getting any money. No injuries were reported.
