ROBBERY: 1800 block of Wilson Lane, 12/11/20, 10:30 p.m. Two men approached the victim in a parking lot, produced a knife and demanded money. The victim started to walk away when one man grabbed him, took personal property and ran away. The victim was treated for minor injuries on scene.
ROBBERY/ASSAULT: 7300 block of Parkwood Court, 12/11/20, 8:01 p.m. The victim was standing in the parking lot when a man entered his car, took his keys, displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The man ran away with the property but was found by officers nearby. Jairo Ramirez, 36, of Falls Church, was charged with robbery and simple assault.
SHOOTING: 4100 block of Wadsworth Court, 12/13/20, 4:03 p.m. A man reported he was walking down the street when another man confronted and shot him as he ran away. He was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life threatening.
STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 3300 Gallows Road (Fairfax Hospital), 12/15/20, 12:57 p.m. A woman stole a 1998 Toyota Corolla from the valet of Fairfax Hospital. Officers were able to identify the woman and found her at her home with the stolen vehicle. Sophia Chafik, 30, of Alexandria, was charged with grand larceny and violating conditions of bail.
STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 4300 block of John Marr Drive, 12/17/20, 11:02 p.m. An officer located a stolen 2004 Chevy Impala in a parking lot with two people inside. Latora Ross, 25, of Maryland, was charged with grand larceny, theft of credit cards, possession of schedule I/II narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles Dougherty, 29, of Maryland, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY/VEHICLE PURSUIT: 8100 block of Horseshoe Cottage Circle, 12/13/20, 1:52 a.m. Officers located a stolen 2011 Audi A4 and attempted a traffic stop but the driver refused, leading to a pursuit. The driver, David Thach, 27, of Falls Church, was not immediately apprehended but located in a neighboring jurisdiction and brought back to Fairfax County where he was charged with grand larceny and vehicular trespass.
STABBING: 6550 Loisdale Court (Wingate by Wyndham), 12/17/20, 12:29 p.m. A fight broke out between two people in a hotel room resulting in one person being stabbed in the upper body. The suspect, Jason McDonald, 27, of Lorton, left the area but was found by officers nearby. McDonald was charged with malicious wounding, both he and the victim were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
