RECKLESS DRIVING/VEHICLE PURSUIT: Sully Road at Willard Road, 1/16/21, 6:16 p.m. An officer attempted to stop a 2018 BMW M3 traveling 115 mph in a 55 mph zone. The driver refused to stop which led to a pursuit. The driver, Abel Shakespeare, 18, of Herndon, stopped the car and was arrested. He was charged with reckless driving and speed to elude.
LARCENY/WEAPON BRANDISHING: 14000 block of Lee Road, 1/21/21, 2:21 p.m. A man was refused entry to a store after stealing an item earlier that morning. The clerk demanded payment for the item and chased the man into a nearby parking lot where the man pulled out a rifle, later determined to be an air pellet gun, and pointed it at the clerk. An officer patrolling the area saw the altercation and was able to safely take the man, Antonio Nolau, 21, of New Jersey, into custody. He was charged with larceny and brandishing a weapon.
MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION
ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT/OBSTRUCTION: 3200 block of Clayborne Avenue, 1/17/21, 4:50 p.m. An officer stopped a car for a traffic violation. The driver exited his car and walked away from the stop. When the officer tried to stop him, the man pushed the officer then ran. Officers found the man, Thanas Cimboku, 34, of Alexandria, nearby and he assaulted officers again. He was arrested and charged with two counts of assault on law enforcement, obstruction of justice and driving on a suspended license. An officer was treated for a minor injury at the scene.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 8251 Greensboro Drive (Enterprise Rent-A-Car), 1/18/21, 7:03 a.m. A worker discovered a shattered glass door to the business and observed a man inside. The man ran away but was located by officers. Michael Hutchinson, 38, of Maryland, was charged with burglary and drunk in public.
STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 3400 block of Carlin Springs Road, 1/16/21, 10:53 p.m. An officer stopped a stolen 2006 Acura TL and two juveniles ran from the car. The juveniles were located by officers and one was charged with grand larceny auto theft.
SHOOTING: Lake Street at Glen Carlyn Drive, 1/16/21, 7:19 p.m. A man reported he was walking on a sidewalk when he was shot in the lower body. He was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life threatening. Detectives are working to investigate the circumstances that led to this shooting.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 3400 B Washington Drive (T-Mobile), 1/17/21, 4:21 p.m. Three men entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded property and cash before running away from the area. No injuries were reported.
RESTON DISTRICT STATION

STABBING: 6500 block of Springfield Mall, 1/16/21, 5:59 p.m. Two juveniles were involved in an altercation that resulted in one being stabbed in the upper body. The juvenile was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. The other juvenile was located and charged with malicious wounding.
ROBBERY: 7000 block of Little River Turnpike, 1/21/21, 10:35 p.m. A woman was approached by a man with a gun who demanded personal property. He ran away from the area with the property, no injuries were reported.
