SULLY DISTRICT STATION

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 8226 Russell Road (7-Eleven), 2/7/21, 1:43 a.m. A man attempted to make a purchase and pushed the cashier when the register opened. He took money and property before running away. No injuries were reported.

SHOOTING: 7500 block of Richmond Highway, 2/11/21, 8:32 p.m. A man was shot inside a building and taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. Detectives are continuing their investigation into this shooting.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

No significant events

MASON DISTRICT STATION

VEHICLE TRESPASSING: 5500 block of Leesburg Pike, 2/5/21, 1:47 a.m. Officers observed a group of juveniles entering unoccupied parked cars in a parking garage. Four juveniles were detained and face charges of grand larceny.  

SHOOTING: 3300 block of Wilkins Drive, 2/10/21, 2:48 a.m. A homeowner reported that a woman broke into their home and was subsequently shot. The woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that were life threatening. Preliminarily, it appears the homeowners and the woman are known to each other. Major Crimes Bureau detectives are currently investigating the circumstances that led to this shooting.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY/NARCOTICS POSSESSION: Telegraph Road at Sandlin Court, 2/7/21, 3:36 p.m. Officers responded to a crash involving a stolen 2003 Dodge Caravan. Several people were seen running from the van where officers located narcotics. One person was taken into custody, charges are pending.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 7800 block of Heritage Drive, 2/6/21, 2:38 p.m. A woman was approached by a man who threw her to the ground and took property before running away. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERY: Little River Turnpike at Wedgewood Drive, 2/7/21, 9:39 p.m. The victim was walking home when a man approached, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim ran away. No injuries were reported. 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7702F Backlick Road (Halal Supermart), 2/11/21, 12 a.m. – 8 a.m. A person forced entry into the business and took property.

COMMERCIAL BURLGARY: 8981D Alban Road, (Afghan Bistro), 2/11/21, 12:36 a.m. A person forced entry into the business and took property before leaving in a car.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

GRAND LARCENY/VEHICLE PURSUIT: 12275 Price Club Plaza (Home Depot), 2/8/21, 4:38 p.m. Two men took property from the store and left in a 2017 Jeep Renegade. Officers located and attempted to stop the car, but the driver refused, resulting in a pursuit. Officers safely stopped the Jeep and the driver, Steven Julius, 30, of Manassas, was taken into custody. He was charged with speed to elude, grand larceny, and possession of stolen property with intent to sell. A passenger ran from the Jeep and was not located.  

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 12000 block of Shoppes Lane, 2/11/21, 9:47 p.m. Officers responded for a report of gunshots in the area and located several shell casings in the parking lot. No injuries or property damage were reported.
