COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6128 A North Kings Highway (Machu Pollo), 4/12/21, 1:30 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6128 B North Kings Highway (Sunflower Nails), 4/12/21, 1:30 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 8100 Tysons Corner Center (Bloomingdales), 4/10/21, 6:22 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/STOLEN AUTO: 2050 Chain Bridge Road (Tysons Dodge), 4/10/21, 8:23 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and stole a 2018 Dodge Charger.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6649 Arlington Boulevard (Tobacco King), 4/11/21, 2:02 a.m. Someone forced entry into the building and took property.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

SHOOTING: 6600 block of Springfield Mall, 4/9/21, 5:22 p.m. The victim was seated in a car when he was approached by a man who shot him in the lower body and ran away. The victim was taken to the hospital with the injuries that were not life threatening. Preliminarily, detectives believe those involved are known to each other.

VEHICLE PURSUIT/WEAPONS VIOLATION/CHILD ENDANGERMENT: Backlick Road at Braddock Road, 4/12/21, 2:34 a.m. An officer saw a 1996 Honda Accord driving recklessly and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused, resulting in a pursuit. After several miles the car was stopped by officers and the driver, a convicted felon, was taken into custody. A gun and ammunition were located inside the car. Tyson Rascher, 23, of Springfield, was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, eluding and reckless driving. Three juveniles were in the car during the pursuit, subsequently, Rascher was charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

CARJACKING: 6500 block of Amherst Avenue, 4/13/21, 7 a.m. The victim was approached by a man with a gun who demanded his 2016 Nissan Altima. The man drove away with the car, no injuries were reported.

WEAPONS BRANDISHING: 6500 block of Springfield Mall, 4/13/21, 4:04 p.m. A man was acting disorderly and brandished a gun at mall security officers. Officer arrested Dominque Whitaker, 33, of Alexandria, and charged him with possession of a firearm by felon, possession of a concealed weapon, three counts of simple assault, disorderly conduct, brandishing a firearm and drunk in public.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING: 8600 block of Westmeath Court, 4/9/21, 9:05 a.m. A man heard gunshots and discovered a bullet hole that went into his house. Cartridge casings were recovered. No injuries reported.
