MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION   

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: Richmond Highway at Groveton Road, 11/24/21, 8:09 p.m. An officer saw a 2019 Honda Accord that was reported stolen from a nearby jurisdiction. The officer took the juvenile driver into custody and charges are pending.    

LARCENY / ASSAULT ON LEO: 6600 Richmond Highway (Target), 11/30/21, 4:31 p.m. Officers were called for a shoplifting incident at Target. When officers attempted to stop the man, he resisted and assaulted an officer. The officer used and Electronic Controlled Weapon to take the man into custody. The 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with three counts of petit larceny and assault on a law enforcement officer.     

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION    

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 2905 District Avenue (Target), 11/25/21, 1:41 p.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took merchandise.

MASON DISTRICT STATION    

DISORDERLY CONDUCT/ASSAULT ON LEO: Leesburg Pike at Carling Springs Road,11/24/21, 3:25 p.m. Officers were called for an intoxicated man walking into the roadway, interfering with traffic and shouting at drivers. When officers attempted to stop the man, he took a fighting stance and refused to follow commands. The officer utilized oleoresin capsicum spray and a community member assisted the officer with taking the man into custody. The 33-year-old man was charged with drunk in public and three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer.      

ROBBERY: Vista Drive and Haven Place, 11/26/21, 2 p.m. A man approached the victim, demanded his watch then assaulted him. The suspect then displayed a knife and took property. The victim was treated for injuries not considered life threatening.      

STOLEN AUTO: 7200 block of Columbia Pike, 11/29/21, 6:55 p.m. The victim’s 2005 Toyota Corolla was stolen from the parking lot after it was left unattended with the keys inside. The vehicle was later involved in an accident on Interstate 66. The driver, a 44-year-old man of Annandale, was arrested and charged with grand larceny.  

RESTON DISTRICT STATION      

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 2200 block of Colts Neck Road, 11/28/21, 4:08 p.m. A woman got into an argument with two men and stabbed them. Both men were treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening. Both men were known to the victim, and this was not a random act. Officers obtained two warrants for malicious wounding for the woman.        

ROBBERY: 2400 block of Centreville Road, 11/30/21, 7:52 p.m. Two men approached the victim, displayed a firearm and a knife, took personal property and ran away on foot. No injuries were reported.      

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION      

ROBBERY: 6600 block ofSpringfield Mall, 11/29/21, 9:12 p.m. The victim agreed to meet a man at the location to sell property. Once at the location, the man displayed a firearm and took his property. No injuries were reported.     

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION 

No events to report. 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION           

ROBBERY: 2300 block of Field Point Road, 12/2/21, 2 p.m. The victim observed a man rummaging through his vehicle and confronted him. The man reached in his pocket implying he had a weapon, took property and ran away. No injuries reported.
