COMMERCIAL ROBBERY/ MALICIOUS WOUNDING/ FALSE ID TO LAW ENFORCEMENT: 2305 Huntington Avenue (7-Eleven), 12/20/21, 4:09 a.m. A man entered the business, assaulted an employee, and took merchandise. A community member witnessed the event and alerted police who responded and arrested the man. The victim reported injuries that were not life threatening. The 33-year-old Maryland man was charged with robbery, malicious wounding, and providing false ID to law enforcement.

ROBBERY: 5700 block of Seminary Road, 12/18/21, 2:20 p.m. The victim was waiting to use an ATM when a man assaulted him, took his property, and fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5585 Guinea Road (Washington Post), 12/19/21, 7:30 p.m. Someone entered the business and took property.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC/ ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 11750 Fair Oaks Shopping Center (Fair Oaks Mall), 12/21/21, 8:37 p.m. Mall security contacted police after they were alerted that an intoxicated man was running through the parking lot, into the road, kicking cars. When officers arrived, they located an intoxicated 32-year-old Manassas running through the parking lot. The man assaulted officers as they were taking him into custody. No injuries were reported. The man was charged with drunk in public and assault on law enforcement.
